The Extreme Way of the Cross (EDK) is a unique form of spiritual journey that combines faith with physical challenge. It usually takes place at night and involves walking long distances, often over 40 kilometers, in silence and alone. Participants reflect on the Stations of the Cross while facing fatigue, darkness, and their own thoughts.
The main idea of EDK is to step out of one’s comfort zone. The effort and solitude help people reflect deeply on their lives, faith, and personal struggles. For many, it becomes a powerful experience of inner change and spiritual growth.
